The Oppo Find N was unveiled less than a month ago, and the first batch immediately sold out. The demand for the foldable is so high, the brand cannot keep up with the orders, and the Find N is facing supply issues as 1 million people registered their interest in the phone.

Liu Bobbee, Oppo China President, revealed the main reason for the high demand was the attractive price of CNY7,699/CNY8,999 (about $1,200/$1,400), as well as the small form factor and the practically invisible crease on the display.

Reservations for smartphones in China work differently than the world – sign up with their email to receive information when stock comes in. So one million users aren’t actually to purchase the phone, but they are considering it.

Even so a high number of registrations indicates high popularity of the device. Sadly, the Find N will not make it outside China. Hopefully, Oppo will give its global fans a different foldable phone in the near future.
